May/June 2018 Watch & Clock Bulletin

The May/June issue tells the tale of a William Bond & Son navy chronometer and also recounts a shocking murder-suicide that involved clock peddlers. The issue also seeks information about some of the “missing” clocks that were part of a 1932 exhibit honoring the 200th anniversary of David Rittenhouse’s birth.

Understanding that members search for information in many ways, we have developed a few approaches for exploring issues of the Watch & Clock Bulletin, which had been titled the NAWCC Bulletin

Entire issues are sorted by decades.

1940s     1950s     1960s     1970s    1980s    1990s     2000s     2010s

If members know the volume and issue numbers, this chart breaks them down by year, if the decade is not complete, and decade.

Year or decade   Volume no.   Issue no.

2016   58   419-424

We are also grateful to Canon Co. and IMR Ltd. for donating a professional-grade, high-speed scanner.
This scanner allowed us to efficiently produce high-quality scans of the pages of the journals.

Search the Bulletin

In addition to the index above, we have three different search options for members researching particular topics from current issues back to the first issue published in 1943:

Quick search | Advanced search | PDFs of the printed index from 1943 to 2013

Content published during the 1940s in Issue Nos. 1-30 was indexed from reprint volumes, so the page numbers in the indexes are different than the original page numbers. This table converts reprint numbers to the original numbers for accurate sourcing and cross-referencing.

Topical Bulletin supplements and addenda offer additional information.
