The Cherokee Chapter began in 1958 as a local chapter of

the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

The primary focus of this organization is to:

1) provide educational programs regarding horology (the study of time/time pieces) for chapter members and for the public,

2) preserve and restore horological antiquities, and

3) provide opportunities for collectors to obtain pieces for their collections.
