The primary function of NAWCC Chapter 180, Friends of the West Coast Clock and Watch Museum (WCCWM) is to provide an all-important support base for our museum. Through NAWCC Chapter 180 members’ volunteer commitment, exhibit contributions, and financial donations, our chapter is an impetus for growing this amazing museum.

It was never intended be a permanent location when our West Coast museum opened at the old courthouse in Bellingham, WA during the year 2000. The courthouse was to be a temporary exhibit while achieving the ultimate goal of a permanent home. We moved WCCWM to its permanent home in June, 2016. Our horology collection is on exhibition inside the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum’s (AGSEM) History of Local Agriculture (HOLA) Center. Our West Coast has become one of AGSEM’s "family" of museums and organizations located on San Diego County park land in Vista, CA.

Since the museum’s reopening in Vista, we have received a number of rare and beautiful pieces. NAWCC Chapter 180 is working to expand this amazing exhibit and collection into a building of its own. Follow our West Coast Clock & Watch Museum’s progress by signing up to receive our free quarterly email newsletter. NAWCC Chapter 180, in partnership with NAWCC’s local Vista Chapter 136 and AGSEM, offers educational and volunteer opportunities for all NAWCC members as well as events and learning experiences for the public to participate in and enjoy.
